Jo elizabeth,
I know that you and your husband parent differently;
but, I think that you are absulutely 100% right to be cautious.
Agree with Rebecca, she should "ask" if it is OK to change locations
and you should check with the adult before letting her. You never know
what is going on in someone else's house and -- at the end of the day,
it is "YOU" who is responsible for your child's safety.
