[blparent] Dishwasher Cleaners

I wish my 12 year old believed that, she is forever putting dirty dishes in
and surprised when they come out dirty.

Not at all. I use a cap full in every load when someone in the house is
sick. Many of the dishwasher cleaners have bleach in them. It would be
pretty hard to hurt the dishwasher. As for the rinsing the dishwasher is
only meant to get grease or small bits of food like sauce or that kind of
thing. If actual food is left on the dish it gets washed to another.
Remember it is just water pressure and soap doing the work.

Thanks. I'm forever nagging the men in my family to rinse their dishes off
more carefully. I'll see what I can do with bleach. It won't ruin the
dishwasher, though?
