Dear Listers,

It has been my pleasure to serve as moderator of this listservb ever since 
its founding some twelve years ago.  I have learned a great deal and have 
enjoyed getting to know the list members and their children through their 
posts.  Now, due to my many other commitments, I have decided to step down 
as list moderator.  I am very pleased to let you know that Steve Jacobson 
has agreed to serve in my place.  As an experienced moderator and the father 
of two daughters, he brings excellent qualifications to the position. I am 
confident that he will handle the list with ability and grace.  I know I am 
leaving the list in the best of hands.
