[blparent] child locator

Some of my son's shirts have fabric loops on the back, for what reason
exactly I'm not sure because they're just regular shirts from the store, but
great for hooking bells onto and such. They're outside the shirt on the
opposite side of where the tags are inside the shirt. You could probably
hook the locator to that or even sow a fabric loop on to your child's shirts
for that purpose.

I have a friend who unlaces her child's shoes, and then puts the locatator
on and then relaces the shoes. If you use a pin you could pin it in her
pants pocket.

Thanks. I wish I could figure out a way to describe the silly clip, which
is the only drawback to the locator. It's just hard plastic, with a hole
like a belt loop to slide a belt through. So there's nothing to slide
through on her shoulder. I've put it in her pocket a few times, or in the
pocket of her jacket, but it makes me nervous because she could take it out
and play with it like a toy, or take her jacket off. What I've done also is
to slide a large safety pin through the clip and then also through the
zipper on a jacket, and pinned it that way. But she could still take the
jacket off.
