On April Fool's Day, my stepson pulled a prank on me by not adding coffee to
the machine when he offered to fix my morning cup. So the coffee tasted
extremely weak and bland, but I didn't want to say anything because it was
nice of him to make me some. I got halfway through the cup, and he started
laughing his head off and asking what was wrong with my coffee. I said I
thought it did taste weak--and then he said April Fool's! But I would have
finished the cup if he hadn't broken in, just so I wouldn't hurt his
feelings. I'll have to think of a prank to do on him next year.

I still can say, the garlic sundae was worse than the coffee-flavored water.

It took me all afternoon to get that taste out of my mouth.
