I actually prefer a folding cane myself, or a telescoping one. It's
also easier to get in a car without being in the way. I have a jogger
stroller myself too, and have figured outa cool way for my husband
and I to travel with it. I actually have enough usable vision to get
around familiar areas without a cane, but I use one anyway. For one it
allows me to use my vision on other things, like enjoying scenery, and
for another thing my vision is deteriorating, so I started early with
the cane so that I will adapt better. I adapt to the changes in my
sight as they come. Anyway, back to how we go with the stroller. My
husband is total by the way. We figure one of us has to walk in front
and one behind, so one of us walks in front and just beside the front
wheel, pulling the stroller by the front, while the other does most of
the hard work pushing it from behind. I am usually in front, using my
cane with one hand and steering the stroller with the other. Onl
problem with joggers is the buses don't like them because they don't
collapse as much as some of the smaller strollers, but they just have
to get over that. I would also never recommend a stroller with less
than a 5 point harness, especially once baby realizes they can sit
forward. I switched with my son and will never go back!
