[blparent] O&M advice

I highly recommend a back carrier with a frame and a stand. It just makes it
so much easier to get your little one onto your back, and will let you set
down the carrier with a sleeping baby in it. They also have a harness that
goes over the child's shoulders so he can not slip out when you lean over.
It is also a good idea to tether a couple of toys to the carrier so your
little one does not toss them out. I was able to reach back and touch my
child's head and to pass him things. I did this with all three of my boys
and found it very convenient. I am sure we were very amusing in the winter
when I sometimes draped a blanket over the baby and pack for extra
protection from rain or snow as my little guys all hated hats.

Babies 2 and 3 are only 2 years apart and I could also carry number 2 in the
back pack with 3 in the front pack. Though if number 1 was along I had him
carry the regular back pack I used for our diaper bag.

Oh wow, if you can handle that you're a better woman than I! I have a
front worn carrier (can't stand the idea of a backpack, couldn't have
my son behind me, but he was too heavy to be carried that way for a
long period of time when he was 18lbs, and he's now 22. I couldn't
imagine doing that up to 35! I think personally I'll stick to the
pulling the stroller behind me technique, lmao!
