[blparent] O&M advice

HI,

I'm a guide dog user but also use a cane for certain situations or when I
don't want to bring my dog to a certain place. I find that both canes are
nice in different situations. If I have my son with me which is usually all
the time, then I prefer the folding cane to get it out of the way when
necessary. I do like the tactile feedback of the straight cane and how
light it is, especially since I have some mild carpal tunnel in my wrists.
No matter what can I carry, I always have a folding Identification cane with
me as a spare just in case something happens to my regular cane or guide
dog. The ID cane also fits nicely in a diaper bag which is another bonus.

Erin

Hi. I've used both canes and haven't found much difference between them.
