[blparent] leashes: ??

I think that the question becomes:
are "child tethers," "leashes," or "leads," respectful to the child?
Does the child feel degraded -- or like an animal for wearing it???
I would say "yes," if the leash was around their neck, but, in my
opinion, the answer is "no" because it is around their body.
But, the original question was about collecting resources.
So:
(just so we don't clog up the list),
Can you (any parent) send me your favorite resources for:
accessible toys for mom and baby,
products that have helped you as a blind person,
etc?
I'm compiling all resources so that we can have a comprehensive list
for blind parents. I can even put in a few comments or description to
help parents.
I just think that it would be a good idea so that
1. we can refer parents to a list instead of typing the same thing over and over
and
2. we all have it as reference when/if we need it for parents that
might not be on the list, but need it.
Thanks for your help.
