Hi Bridgit. Ok, so I'm completely embarrassed to say that I'm running Jaws
version 6.0

Jerri,

Yes, if your version of JAWS is older, it will run slower on websites and
newer computer programs. JAWS updates happen because other media like
websites and operating systems are constantly updating. It may also be due
to your operating system and how old that is. I have JAWS 10 on my laptop
and it runs slower on websites. And it could also be due to how many
graphics are on a website. I'm no tech expert and only speak from
experience, so someone else can probably answer this much better than I can,
grin.

Sincerely,
Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter

Ok so I don't know if it's alright to ask technical questions here or not,
but if not, then please if anyone has any tips for me email me at
jjmilton at cox.net

So I've been trying to do some shopping on line and I'm pulling my hair out.
I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm using an ancient version of Jaws, so I
don't know if it's part of the problem, but on some web sites the Toys R Us
one for example, it takes Jaws sometimes three to four minutes before he'll
begin reading the page. Then no matter what link I go to I'm waiting another
three to four minutes. So buying anything becomes extremely time consuming.
It also happens on the food network web site.
Oh, also on the toy web site, Jaws will sometimes stop all together. Can
anyone help me out? Like I said feel free to email me off list. Thanks so
much.

Jeri
