My brother got some big cardboard boxes and that's exactly wat his
grandchildren did, color them and decorate them and when they started to
collapse, the kids got together and rebuilt them.

Hi. The kids want a play house. Of course, they're kids. He's not opposed to
spending the money, he's just not into seeing me have this battle with
myself making the decision. But, I'm leaning away from it anyway. Our back
yard is under construction so the swing set right now is out. We don't have
the room inside for the sturdy play houses. So, I've solved it and figured
it out. Smile. Honestly, the kids are fine with whatever Santa brings them.
I do however, like the ones that are card board and they can color
themselves. They're cheap and they're fun. They won't last forever, or even
for long, but they'll get to be creative with it.

Jerry,
Sounds like you either have malware or your version of JFW is too out of
date for the sites you're going.
Is your husband opposed to a playhouse or is he opposed to spending money on
a lesser version of what you really want?
We have a swing set and love it.
Do your kids want a playhouse or is it just you?
I'd find out what his objections are. Personally, I'd save your money for
what you ultimately want, it will be better quality, it will last longer and
I think all of you will be happier.

This is also a great time of the year to find these pop up things that deer
hunters use to hide behind. They are like little one sided pop up lean toos
and will be on sale here at the end of hunting season. They hold up pretty
well to play as far as I have been told too.

It was a link I found on the Toys R Us web site. toysrus.com/playhouses it
was quite a ways down on the page. It was called The Pop Up Play House.
