But when I was in Europe, they either smothered their foods with heavy
gravies or cream. We over feed, they smooother. 6 of one, half a dozen of
another.
Though, they do a lot of walking and public transportation, where
American's do a lot of sitting and driving.

I had a friend in college who came here from Europe, and she said she was
astounded at the serving sizes in this country.I guess they're much more
realistic over there, and then she said the American tourists would be like,
this is all I get? Americans say European restaurants are stingy only
because they're not trying to see who can outcalorie each other.

kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

Lifting children is also a great exercise. But you are right, eating
serving sizes is a great way to cut back. Most restaurants give you 2
servings of everything and we now think it is normal. Cut your portions in
half and bring half home for another day.

The one important thing to remember, is that you truly do have to change
when you eat, or how much you eat, in order to truly lose weight. Exercise
does help and sometimes you really need to work hard at it, but it's all a
teamwork thing. Between eating and exercising. Exercising will not just be
the key, you really do have to change some things about your food. Also, you
need to do some weight training even if it's lifting gallons of milk
up-and-down from waste to above your head. If milk is not available, use
bags of potatoes five or 10 pound bags can be lifted again from me up over
your head. I use a couple of handweights, 10 pound and 25 pound weights. I
also walk on the treadmill, and walk around my neighborhood frequently. I
also now only eat two meals a day, and my weight loss is gradual yet
noticeable people around my neighborhood have commented on the way they
notice that my body is changing. Also, you need to keep this going at a very
persistent rate and when you do the handweights, make sure you do at least
50 repetitions more better if you can do an hundred per arm
