[blparent] making pancakes for toddler

I cheat and use bisquick.
On my stove I have the temp at about the 7 o'clock position, and I use a
1/4 measuring cup for putting the batter in the pan. I do only one at a
time. It takes a little longer that way, but when doing more then that, I
have ended up with one big pancake.

Listen for bubbles on the top to start to pop, and that is about the time to
flip it.

Subject: [blparent] making pancakes for toddler

Hello all and Happy Friday!

I love to cook and am pretty good at it but pancakes are something I've only
played-around with a couple of times because I had such a frustrating time
trying to pin-point the best time to flip the pancake in addition to getting
the darn thing cooked all the way through without burning it. Pancakes are
an easy food that toddlers love to eat and there are lots of ways to make
them healthy and even hide certain vitamin packed foods in them that a
little one will be willing to eat. I'd love to hear from those of you who
have mastered the art of cooking pancakes for your kids and what your
techniques might be.

Thanks and have a lovely weekend.

Erin and Dawson
