We found it at Safeway. It's also available at Wal-Mart.

I too would like to know how to bake pancakes. As for the Batter Blaster,
it sounds kind of weird and kind of cool at the same time. I guess we have
many other things from cans available so I'd give it a one time shot just
for kicks. Who knows, I might be pleasantly surprised. I'll let you guys
know if I find it and give it a go.

Can you explain how you make the baked pancake?

My stepson saw Batter Blaster in the grocery store tonight. It's a can like
you would spray whipped cream out of. He found it in the refrigerator case.

It said it was all organic, liquid batter that you could spray into a
skillet and you'd get fluffy buttermilk pancakes. I didn't buy it. Liquid
pancake batter in a spray can seemed too strange to me.

I have a metal ring, and a metal dinosaur that I pour the batter into. The
trick is to find out how much batter you need. I have an ice-cream scoop and
that is right for the ring. With the ring I can then locate the pancake, and
gently touch the top, or slide the spatula under to see. Some people can
time them, but I've never tried. I prefer to make a baked pancake with
bisquick that really does taste exactly like a pancake on the stove.

I cheat and use bisquick.
On my stove I have the temp at about the 7 o'clock position, and I use a
1/4 measuring cup for putting the batter in the pan. I do only one at a
time. It takes a little longer that way, but when doing more then that, I
have ended up with one big pancake.

Listen for bubbles on the top to start to pop, and that is about the time to
flip it.

Hello all and Happy Friday!

I love to cook and am pretty good at it but pancakes are something I've only
played-around with a couple of times because I had such a frustrating time
trying to pin-point the best time to flip the pancake in addition to getting
the darn thing cooked all the way through without burning it. Pancakes are
an easy food that toddlers love to eat and there are lots of ways to make
them healthy and even hide certain vitamin packed foods in them that a
little one will be willing to eat. I'd love to hear from those of you who
have mastered the art of cooking pancakes for your kids and what your
techniques might be.

Thanks and have a lovely weekend.
