Montessori is absolutely wonderful. The thing you need to pay attention to
is do they just have the Montessori approach or are they really doing the
full method? I use many Montessori methods in my teaching, but I'm not a
certified Montessori educator.

Bernadetta,

I don't have personal experience with Montessori schools, but my mom, who is
a teacher, has always raved about Montessori schools. They are usually
pricey, but the education is suppose to be top-notch. They emphasize the
learning-by-experience method so many public schools lack these days.
Children learn in multiple styles allowing them to experience lessons in a
method best for them; example:
Auditory, kinestetic and visual. They also use the station model where
various learning stations are often used to instruct. Again, I'm no expert
here, nor do I have personal experience, but my mom, who has studied various
types of learning methods, has always recommended a Montessori education.

Sincerely,

Hey everyone,
Our little boy is not yet eight months old, but we're looking into schools
that would be suitable for him. We're really liking the Montessori approach
and there's even a school nearby that accepts students from eighteen months
old.
Have any of you had your kids enrolled in a Montessori school? If so, can
you please share your experiences? I'm really looking for some insite on the
part of parents who send their kids to a Montessori accredited school. We're
also trying to figure out what the differences are , regarding either of the
Montessori associations recognized in the US. Thanks a bunch in advance,
everyone.

Best,

Bernadetta
