[blparent] Long overdue update and request for help?

I am unable to get the training necessary where I live. I currently live
in a town with the population of 1137 with no way out except through
family and friends. I can walk the town safely, but it doesn't have all
I need/want anymore. I need to be in a city with public transportation
and decent public transportation at that. I need the independence that i
don't have here, yet I lack the confidence to live somewhere like that.
I'm rambling here.
