For the stroller, most of us pull the stroller backwards behind 
us.  Some strollers do this better than others so it is best to test 
out before buying stroller, if you can.

We were given a very expensive European stroller, as a gift, and it 
was almost impossible to pull it backwards -- but our inexpensive 
American stroller did great!
