[blparent] GI Issues While Pregnant?

Hello,

If it isn't something medical going on it could just be your body reacting
strangely to certain foods or to how they're prepared. How much have you
played around with the types of food you're eating or how those foods are
made? Protein is especially crucial during pregnancy but maybe how the food
is prepared will do the trick. Just some thought and hope you get this
figured-out quickly. That doesn't sound fun at all.

Take care,

Erin

It wouldn't hurt to see the specialist and see what he or she says. I had
serious heartburn during my pregnancy--actually I had it before and it just
got worse--to the point I could barely eat anything. I was given Prilosec,
which is considered safe during pregnancy, and definitely safer than not
being able to eat. I hope you find a fix, and I'm glad it wasn't
gallstones. I had my gallbladder out soon after giving birth, and those
attacks were a hundred times worse than childbirth.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

Hello,
Over the passed few weeks I've been experienceing some interesting GI issues
other than morning sickness. Vommiting, diareah, gass, and siveer pain in
the uper stomach. Since the pains get worse after eating any kind of
proteen my OB thought it was gall stones. One negative ultrosound later,
were all still stumped, OB says it sounds like gastritis (spelling) and has
recomended I see a GI expert.
Has anyone had an experience like this during a pregnancy, and did you find
things that helped? I'm 11 weeks and five days by the way, and baby has a
strong heart beat
