I think it would be great for your child to learn Braille. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for seven years. If we are ever blessed with a child, I would teach them Braille as well. Both my husband and I are blind, and I am sure there would be interest since we would both read to them in Braille. Heck, I read to my niece in Braille since before she could walk. She is now five and has expressed interest in learning it.
