Mine, either, she was about three and a half and I'd been taking guff from
everybody in the world for a year because so-and-so's daughter was already
potty trained, and why was I letting mine go so long--it got old. But when
she showed an interest, the process was as easy as a breeze.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

I did the same but my daughter was stubborn and just wouldn't have anything
to do with it til she was 3.

I did this approach as well, I bought the underwear, and then showed her how
to use the toilet, it was a lot of visits to the toilet. Sometime sitting
there for minute after minute. She got the hint and use the toilet
successfully from then on.
