I found out yesterday we are in the bus zone. The woman in transportation told me that even if we weren't there was no reason why we couldn't use the closest bus stop. Joe Elizabeth I suggest you talk to both your school principal and transportation. Explain your situation and see what they say. You want to call now and you want to convey that your situation is different then a mom that doesn't want her kid to get wet in the rain. Given your dogs age I would not mention her.
