I agree. Sometimes my older kids don't understand. They think I'm a control freak. I tell them that someone needs to be on top of the eight ball and have all their ducks lined up in a row. They tell me to relax. I then tell them that I am being responsible and if I am not on too of things, then I cannot be prepared for the i foreseen changes.  I share with them when these changes occur and what I have done in order to be prepared.  Sometimes they get it, other times they don't. These times can be frustrating.
