Joanne, I think some of it has to do with ignorance and prejudice, and 
I think some of it has to do with vendictive x's who want to hurt their 
x, and some family members who don't want to allow their blind family 
member to have a normal life. Blind people have been having and raising 
children for centuries, but apparently some people just don't want to 
drag themselves out of the dark ages. I thank God for the people here 
in our town who have worked with us to make sure CPS never has to enter 
our home.
