[blparent] crossing the street

She is 13 and does cross busy roads by herself.  It just so happened that
day, we were all walking downtown Albuquerque and there was a car parked
near the corner, so dad stepped forward to look around it and Gab thought he
was crossing.  She is usually pretty good at it, it was just a fluke
So this incident made me think it would be a good topic here.  .

V, does Gab cross the street by herself? Am I wrong about her age? I thought
she was twelve. If I'm wrong and she's too young to cross by herself, this
wouldn't apply, but if she is old enough you might want to remind her that
even when she's with adults, she's still responsible for looking both ways
so she can determine herself whether or not it's safe. Hope this helps.
