OMG! Too funny!

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

There's this blind guy, and he's waiting to get on the bus when another man,
his wife and his ten kids approach. The bus pulls up and they soon realize
that there aren't enough seats. The blind guy and the man with the wife and
ten kids talk, and they agree that the mom and kids should ride the bus and
they will walk.

After a few blocks, the sound of the blind guy's cane starts to really
irritate the man with the ten kids. A few blocks later, and the man can't
take it anymore. He says "You know, if you'd put a wrapper on that stick, it
would be a lot more pleasant".
The blind guy turns to him and says "And if you'd put a wrapper on your
stick, we'd both be riding the bus right now".

Did any of you hear about the blind guy and his problems with the local bus?

I think I may be confused about the question on the rightness of giving up
your seat. The question seems to have an obvious answer as it is posed in
terms of morality, but now I am wondering if someone has any thoughts on why
it would be wrong to give up the seat to the mother traveling with 4
children?

Yes, I would give my daughter an ice cream if the day was hot if she
corrected her misbehavior. Yes, did the right thing by giving that mom your
seat because you noticed that she wasm't feeling well. I would hope that if
I were in that situation that someone would do what you did.
