[blparent] cradle cap and stuff

Was the baby oil working for the cradle cap though? It really worked for Dyl
and his scalp and hair were just fine after washing the oil out. Just
saying, if it helped the cradle cap then it may have been worth it. What do
I know though? I'm not the doctor right? I sure hope she can get it cleared
up soon. Keep us posted ok.

She was using baby oil and her pediatrician told her not to as it isn't good
for baby's hair and scalp.  That wa why she switched.  Kind of stuck between
a rock and a hard place.

Oops.... Sorry for my last post. I'm reading emails backward and I didn't
realize the baby was allergic to olive oil! That is too bad! I hope the baby
oil will help.

Hi everyone, obviously I am not asking for myself but I have a new friend
who has a new baby girl and her baby has severe cradle cap.  Her
mother-in-love told her to put a bit of olive oil on the scaly area and it
turned out the baby was allergic to it.  She broke out in hives all over her
little head and face.
The Dr told her they couldn't give her anything since she is only 9 weeks.  
The pharmacist suggested that she put about a tablespoon of Selson Blue in a
quart bottle, fill it with water and dab with a cotton ball on the scaly
area.  She hasn't tried that yet, kind of gun shy.
Do you all have any ideas for her?
