No, all they do is provide an opportunity to meet people which is really a
lot of consumers want when they use them. Many advertise, but it's the
dating equavilient of eating out, you aren't feeding people forever, you are
setting things up so they keep coming back to the buffett and have their
friends join them.

The online sites have to do a decent enough job to help a few people because
if they didn't, no one would refer their friends to them and they would lose
business.
