Blind parents meeting.  That's the one that Deb usually conducts and that’s
the one that parents usually come without kids.

Yes, I think there is a different meeting that what is already on the
schedule. Angela Frederick, a blind parent and college professor, is
conducting 4 different session of 6 or 7 mom's each to network/chat for a
research project that she is conducting. They are at 4 different times....I
can look it up and get back to you, if you wish.  I can also send you the
e-mail that was posted on blparents listserv. I had a difficult time
figuring out which session would be best for me, as there were too many
conflicts with other sessions that I want to attend.  I have an interest in
research, so I will attend part of one session and then go to the session
that I signed up for...you have to sign up for the sessions off list to
Angela.  

I also would not mind networking with you and other mom's, as well.  No, my
children are not coming.  I have 3 boys...17, 15, and 12. My oldest will
graduate from high school this Friday.  I am so excited for him.  :)

I am also in the same boat as you....I am up with all the posts, but I do
not post too often myself.

So, you say you are a student...what are you going to school for?  I am in
between schools.  I just graduated with my 3rd Masters a year ago and I plan
on attending again in the next year or two.

Hi parents,

My name is Tamika Williams and I joined this list about a couple of
years ago. However, I mostly try to keep up with the threaded
discussions so I don't appear to be to active on this discussion list
but I am.

my question is "Is there another meeting other than that one time
listed on the convention agenda?" For some reason I thought I
remembered us talking about this last year or the year before and
someone said that there is usually a meeting held for the ones who
couldn't make it to the one listed on the agenda.

I am a student but also a nblind parent and for the last two years the
blind parents group has met during the National Association of Blind
Students meeting which causes me not to be able to come and
participate in the group meeting as I wish I could.

Please let me know if there is a second meeting.
