[blparent] braille picture books for babies?

One of our kids' favorite books! Can't count the number of times we've read it. In fact, it has been loved so much the cover has fallen off. One of these days I'd like to get a fresh copy... Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring one to Elizabeth. Santa finally had to replace our copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar because it was falling apart as well.
We love books around here!

HI I would like to chime in that I have published a book call Sadie Can Count. It is a spot picture book of common items that are easy to collect the real object. This makes it a perfect first picture book for any child. The pictures are all full color and fully embossed. The text is large print with uncontracted Braille directly beneath. Since we have distribution with Baker and Taylor your local library can order it so that you and your child can enjoy. A lot of libraries already have it so you might check. Of course you can also order the book from www.SensationalBooks.com if you would like to own it.

If you are at Convention this year in Orlando I plan on donating two books to the Braille book exchange. So be sure to stop by there!

	Dear hina:
When you get a chance, I suggest a visit to your local public library to see if they have any board books in Braille. Here in Miami, I was able to borrow something like 30/40 different titles to read to Song before she turned one.
Now that she's 28 months, her tastes in reading materials have changed quite a bit and i'm thinking that we will need to purchase some more advanced Braille books since the board books are no longer interesting to her.
Another option would be to see if any one in the Chicago chapter has books that they would be willing to lend to you. I'd be willing to send you the books that we have, however we are expecting another child at the end of March and I feel that he may enjoy some of the same titles that we have lying around.
	Good luck in your search.
