The more you tell him the more he'll learn. Gab has always been the top
reader in all her classes and now, in 7th grade, is making straight A's and
is on the Honor roll as well as in Jurnior Honor society. I'm convinced it
is because of all the word games we played.
When she got a little older and could talk, we say, "lets see how many words
we can think of with the letter A," or which ever. We make lists and lists
of lists. A is for alligator, alphabet, any, apple, amber, anger, angle,
etc. then I would say, ok, lets think of words with A that aren't ordinary,
no apple or alligator. Make it harder and harder.

hi V,
Thanks for your suggestions and sharing some valuable resources. I would
definitely use them. I will also try some word games. I already am telling
him what everything is when i give it to him but will work on being more
consistant on telling him.
hina.
