It is very easy to change a diaper. Put the baby down on a changing pad. Have all the supplies ready before you start. This means a new diaper, wipes, possibly new clothes if he has gone through everything, and a cloth to put over pertinent little boy parts so that you do not get squirted. Take the clothes off and tuck them up high, so they do not get wet. Then, take the top of the diaper off, but be ready to place that cloth over pertinent parts, or you will get a shower. Taking the diaper off makes him cold, and babies wet in small amounts, so he will most likely squirt from the cold. Wipe him well with the wipes! Do not be afraid to check with your hands after you wipe to make sure he is clean. Get rid of the old diaper by balling it up with the wipes inside. Put the new diaper under him with the tabs down. Put the top between his legs and fasten the tabs. Then, redress him. It is normal to have babies wet or poo their clothes several times a day, so get used to changing those little sleepers!
