[blparent] Drums and how to muffle them.

spin off from my earlier topic about strangers crossing a line.

My pastor who is also a long time friend and drummer has a drum pad, Myles
never touches it. Doesn't like it. However the muffled stick idea may help.
He uses brushes right now but, even that seems loud to our neighbor. He
does not usually drum crazy like most 4 year olds and for a hyper kid he is
pretty sensible on them. Anyway thanks Gabe I'll have to check into that
one. I half wonder if she even knows we have drums or if she thinks he's
throwing his dresser around in there or something crazy like that. LOL We
asked our side neighbors about them and they said they never even hear him.
My hubby is going to talk to the tenant that actually lives upstairs to see
if they bother her. More to get a sense if it's her or her pleasant
daughter that bangs on the floor like that. We figure if we do the mice
thing and discuss a time frame with her that we can agree mutually on maybe
if her sweet daughter gets a little crabby her mom can deal with it. If not
the poop on her I guess.
