I had a difficult time with my Baby Bjorn also, and ended up barely using
it. I had a hard time with the Snugglee as well. My problem was back pain,
but I'm sure the experience isn't the same for everyone.

I disagree with the Baby Bjorn recco, I found it to be a miserable product.
Gloria, I'd find some baby wearing groups in your area. They will probably
be found under the term attacvchment parenting. You don't have to agree with
their philosophy to use their tools.
Buying a baby wearing product at a department store is like buying running
shoes at a department store. You can do it, but you will really wish you
hadn't.

Gloria,

We have a Baby Bjorn and love it. At 8 months, we still use it, thought not
near as much as Declan's cruising now. Baby Bjorn's are pricey, but worth
it, I think. You may want to try a couple of styles regardless of what brand
you go with. You can usually put them on at stores that carry them
especially places like Babies R Us. And often there are local groups like
Mommy and Me groups that provide opportunities to try stuff like slings and
carriers out. Just check into it.

But yes, we totally love our Baby Bjorn.

Hi all,
I am considering getting a sling for my new born. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to which brand is better? I am wanting something that will
distribute the weight nicely to prevent back pain. Thanks in advance! Gloria
