[blparent] tips on feeding a baby

Hi, Tatyana,

I had the same issues with rice cereal. It's very sticky and hard to clean.
We didn't do rice cereal very long, and I find that fresh foods like avocado
are much easier to feed my daughter because they don't stick to the bottom
of the spoon and everything else as much.

After trying different methods, I have found it works best to guide her food
into her mouth while standing behind her high chair. I also keep her bowl of
food far out of her reach and keep a damp rag nearby to wipe my fingers on
as we go.

I'm planning to order the boone squirt spoons when we travel this summer.
You can put food in the handle of the spoon and let it out slowly into the
bowl of the spoon.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
AF

Subject: [blparent] tips on feeding a baby

 Hi,
Hope you all are in good health.
my son is 5 and a half months and we started introducing solid foods. We're
playing with rice cereal so far.

What are your guys tips how to find a baby mouth and not smash all cereal on
his face?
Also, what spoons are best for you and why?

I find his mouth with one hand finger, and when I'm getting cereal in his
mouth with other hand, that all smashes on my finger, the one I use to find
the mouth. And it's hard to understand how much actually got in his tammy.

Thank you very much.

Tatyana.
