Isn't that the truth? When we first told my daughter about Santa, I think
maybe she was three, nearly four. She got really alarmed and said, "Mama!
He's coming in our house? At night?"

The rules change at Christmas too. "See that old guy? Now, go sit on his lap
and tell him what you want for Christmas. Trust me, he knows where you live
and can get into house when we're all asleep. And, remember he loooooves
you!"
A lot of what we tell kids doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about
it.
