[blparent] blparent Digest, Vol 113, Issue 15

Hi Veronica:

I am fairly new on the list. My daughter is grown and one of my grandsons is out on his own. I felt the same as you do though. My
daughter was never afraid of those exams when I was allowed to hold her.

When I was I the market for one, the big question I asked them is how they
did the exam. If they told me I was to sit aside and wait while they poked
and proded my little darling, that was not the pediatrician for me. The one
I settled for told me to hold my daughter while he did the exam. He said
this way I could be part of the whole thing.

Hi all,
I know some of you are in the Rosedale/White Marsh area and I am sure you
have a pedestrian. I am on the search for one now that I have hit 20 weeks.
Who do you use? What kind of question would you ask both blindness related
and not. I know it's early but I have not had luck with my current OB and
therefore at 20 weeks I am looking for a new one that's a long story I will
gladly fill you in on off list.
Thanks,
Melissa Treaster

able to put me in touch with any women who are pregnant and living with a
disability; such as, blindness. I would imagine that sense wise; the
pregnancy of a blind woman would be a completely different feel, when
compared to a woman who has all of her senses.
> The series would involve us following a variety of pregnancies, from early
pregnancy, through to labor. As an expectant mother myself, I think it could
be a great and informative series as I am learning right now how different
each pregnancy experience can be! . The series will go on this
life-altering journey with the women, through the ups and downs. We will be
using the series to educate the masses and perhaps inspire others.
