Do it, kids love to ask questions about blindness.  Some of the questions
they'd ask me was "how do you find your car in the parking lot?"  Or how do
you get your key in your door?"

At Gab's school, they'd have pajama day and when they had it, I always
volunteered to come and read a bedtime book to her classes.  A little nerve
racking, havig all those little eyes on me, but we did it and those kids
started expecting me to do it every year.

Well, we're three weeks in, and everything seems okay.  I couldn't work out
a deal with the buses, so Dad drops the kiddo off in the morning on his way
to work and the teacher helped me set it up with another mom, whose daughter
was in her class last year, to bring Sarah home.  That mom is big into the
PTO, so I may volunteer with her; still not sure about that.  The teacher
wants me to go talk to the classes when they do a unit on their senses
pretty soon, so I'm mulling that over.

get your children to school, so are these issues resolved?
