[blparent] so how's school

My suggestion is to speak to both the classroom teacher and the school
secretary about sending e-mails home. I've found that both the teacher and
the office will generate communications, often independently of each other,
so you need to make sure both places know you would like e-mails. I've
found my daughter's school to be very accommodating so far, but it helps
that they try to do things electronically or by phone instead of using paper
anyway. It's the whole environmentally friendly thing.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

I have one more issue. I am trying to get my daughter's school to email me
any notes that go home to her mom as there have been issues with her in
clas. Noone from the school has gotten back to me to tell me if this is
possible. Doesn't this fall under reasonable accomodations?

Thanks.

Every thing has worked out good here. We had a few things to work out with
Transportation but it has all been worked out now.
My daughter Jordan started kindergarten this year and loves riding the bus.
Her teacher is great about emailing me any information I need.
We had curriculum night a few days ago and we're taught the ways the kids
would be taught so there's consistency between home and school. I was
extremely nervous before school started but I am grateful for everything has
gone so smoothly.
I hope that everything is going as well for everyone else as it is for us.
