That has been the rule of Access since it has been in igzistance. It's
horrible when all I need to do is pick up perscriptions through the
drive-through @ CVS. Theh do have a same-day taxi service, but it is only
good from 8:0 am until 5:00 pm. Also, you pay the $3.60 (the regular access
fare) for the first three miles. After that, you have to pay the regular
taxi fare. Also, the service is five to 90 minute wait when you call for
them.

Who said?  Did they say you cannot schedule a return ride at the same time
as your drop off, and if they did I would fight that stupid rule.

I've never heard of  a peratransit company not taking children under 18. As
far as them dropping her off and bringing me back wright away, I have to
wait an hour before the next van picks me up.

The Paratransit up here wouldn't even allow kiddos on the Van if they are
under 18. Maybe, you could ask the paratransit company and see if they could
do just that, take you and your child and then immediately bring you home.
If you don't ask, you won't know.

Hello all. I am a guardian of a nine-yearold girl. She lives with her mom
but spends at least the weekends with me. She normally takes the school bus
to schho, but sometimes, she wants her dad (me) to either take her or pick
her up from school


Unfortunately, I use peratransit. Like most peratransit systems, you can't
just drop off and go back. Breann's mom understand that for me to take or
pick Bre up from school would be very dificult. I have not yet been able to
get through to Breann that it would be very difficult for me to do this kind
of a thig.

Has anyone had this issue?
