[blparent] Keeping Baby Clothes Paired

Honestly, that's what the sighted dad of my daughter said as well. He said
the baby would be dressed in onesies for the summer most of the time, and
sleepers for the cooler season. He said keep a few nice paired outfits for
special occasions, and don't worry about it for the rest of the time, which
is pretty much the point I got to when my daughter--who is now six and ready
to take on the first grade, where did the years go--was a baby. If she was
clean, we were good. I was too worn out and overwhelmed to worry about cute
clothes except if we were going someplace where pictures would be taken.
Spend your precious time and energy enjoying that baby. Seriously, the best
advice I ever got was from one of my dearest aunts out of a Baby Blues comic
strip--the days may be long, but the years are short.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

Why not use longere bags?
Babies are messy, leaks, spit up, drool, that sort of thing. Odds are you'll
get to the point of "It's clean, we're good to go".
I'll tell you that even if your husband could see, he wouldn't care about
keeping clothes matched. Guys don't generally care about that sort of thing.

Thank you, Peggy. I appreciate your response and will take it into
consideration as well.
