ALso, NLS (National Library Services has a lot of children's books. I'm
trying to get a list of the books Breann will be reading for the rest of the
year so that I can get coppies of them to help her with her reading eing
that her reading skills are behind.

I used to get them from National Fraille Press. I signed up for a book of
the month club and over several months got may mnay really good books.
You can also sign up for the Utah State Library for the Blind and get books
from there. When my daughter was very young, the library would just send a
box of books and we'd read them and send them back, when she was a little
older and knew what books she liked best, we actually choose the books, read
them and then send them back.

I have 3 sighted children, all girls ages 6, 8 and 10. I will email more
once I see a thread going to give me an idea of what to post so I will not
get in trouble.
For starters, where can I get twin vision books I think they are called, so
I can read to my children and they can follow along as well.
Thank you!

Welcome and good luck. I'm a blind mom with a sighted kindergartner.

Happy new year everyone and hello.

I just signed up and there are reasons why I am here which I will spare
everyone the details, but I am mainly here because I am a blind parent and
have been for 10-years and still going strong.

I'm interested to see how this list will
help me. I look forward to hearing from any and all members.

Take care.
