[blparent] children and assistive tech

That's funny. My five-year-old has no interest in what my computer is
saying. She'll sometimes say to one of her friends, "Mama's computer never
shuts up!"

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

Yeah, I can't be sneaky with this neither as my daughters are used to
hearing voice over on my phone, even when I have it as quick as it can talk.
I can't do the ear piece thing, because I am pretty much deaf in the right
ear, meaning, I need that left ear to hear wth is going on around the house
lol.
However, with my other screen readers, they have no clue what its saying.

not sure I could add too much to this, but I can say that my three-year-old
and my 13-year-old can listen to voiceover on my AppleTV on my iPad and on
my iPhone and very fast speed and comprehend and understand exactly what it
saying. It's kind of funny. because they are fully cited
