Hi,
I'm concerned, but I can't help but think there is more to this story than
we are seeing.

I’m not writing this post to stir up debate about marijuana use or police
brutality, or to stir up debate or trouble in any way. But I came across a
disturbing story on the Internet that, if it happened the way the blind
gentleman claims it did, has serious implications for citizens in general
with disabilities and should be brought to the attention of those who hold
powerful positions in the NFB. I wasn’t sure how else to get the word out,
except that I know people on this list are connected to the organization. I
know firsthand, as do most of us, how it feels to be lost and vulnerable,
and to be put in that position needlessly and unsafely by a person of
authority is inexcusable. I’m hoping someone will pass the link along just
in case the right people haven’t been made aware of the situation in
Florida.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.
