I also just thought of something; do you guys think it would be beneficial 
to contact the Blind Teachers Division?  I haven't paid attention, but they 
may have a list as well at www.nfbnet.org.

I'm not home schooling my own child, but I'm assisting in home schooling
some blind children in my area. I don't know how it works there but perhaps
if you get hooked up with a system there may be materials in alternate
format that you can already use. I've been working closely with the teacher
to braille out materials. It's a challenge but I believe it can be done.
Perhaps you can work closely with the home school teacher who may be pretty
resourceful. Are there home school groups in your area? That may be a good
resource too.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone on this list homeschool their children? I have a 6 year old
child, and I am planning to homeschool her starting next week. I have
already withdrawn her from the school she was enrolled in and researched the
laws relating to homeschooling in Texas and am looking into what method or
sources for teaching her I will use. I would like to know if there are also
blind parents homeschooling their children? I am totally blind and will be
homeschooling her on my own as a single parent. Also, are there blind
homeschoolers groups I could join for blind parents?
