Most definitely, eslpecially if she is happy there.  In later grades, if you 
feel her GPA is falling there would be time to consider other alternatives. 
They really don't start looking at GPA scores until one is in high school, 
unless that has changed.

Personally, I never thought of home schooling. My daughter is eleven
and sighted, but she has dyslexia. Going to school gives more
opportunities for children to socialize and make friends. My daughter
has three friends who come regularly to play with her.  this is
something positive as she has no siblings to play with. I am trying to
get the public school she is attending to be more conscious about the
needs and teaching methods of children with dyslexia. According to
statistics one out of five children are dyslexic.  This is an area
where public education should be focussed as many children fall
through the cracks, because they are not getting the support needed. I
do not mind helping her with homework, but I feel the best place for
her is the school.
