Bernie, very encouraging!
I'm just getting my home study done. They won't touch me until that is done.
Then, I'll worry about fees.

Dear Mr. Young. Relax. It really will be OK. Bills and my experience has
been that with special needs children, often times, many of the fees are
waived. So, the cost is not nearly so great as One would think. For both
kids, when we adopted them, we spent anywhere from $11,000-13,000.00 for
each child. This also included airfare to bring them back with us. North
west airlines had many perks and they were absolutely wonderful with us.
This has been our experience.
Oh yes! I would definitely give this a shot. Just don't expect a whole lot
of cooperation from the Chinese. They may be happy to get rid of her. But
they won't go out of their way to make things absolutely wonderful! Don't be
surprised at anything. Unfortunately, their treatment of special needs
children leaves a whole lot to be desired. It is what it is.
Bernie.

better from China. We didn't get it for David. By the time we got David,
David have literally been left for dead. When we brought him home, that was
when all the surprises began. Even if you push the Chinese for anything, it
probably will not be the truth. After all, it wasn't for us. We simply love
David for who he is. When everyone tells us, "your kids are so blast. "We
tell them, "you have got it all wrong! "He, David, and Virginia, have
blessed us tremendously. They are such wonderful children. Most everything
we have found out about them, we have found here in the United States.

takes her. Just don't look for anything from the Chinese and you will not be
disappointed. That is my experience with the Chinese.

When the worst happened, I think I had a melt ? down every single day I was
in China. I never thought I could cry so much in one place. It was Bill and
I along with our pediatric team who has been building David from the bottom
up. When we brought him back, he literally weighed 18 pounds. Now he is a
thriving young boy, nine years later. Weighs over 60 pounds. He is always
happy. He is so much fun. He has a wonderful sense of humor we just
concentrate on loving him and all the blessings come tenfold.
