[blparent] Organizing baby clothes

Someone mentioned picking up the zip-up mesh bags. Our kids are grown now, but I use them in the wash as well for special laundering, and I have found them at Wal-Mart and I believe Fred Meyers. It's been so long since I have needed to purchase any that hope I am remembering correctly.

Hi, all the suggestions here have been really great. I use many of them myself. I just wanted to add something. If you were worried that pinning close together would get ruined in the wash. You can put them in the mesh sock bags. Meaning one outfit per bag. This would make sure that they wouldn't get ruined.also, as many have said. I found the one piece if outfits to be much easier. They also make one piece outfits in cotton that are zip up. ones now which are easier than the snap one pieces.
also, I found for the newborn stage. Both boys and girls I love to use the nightgowns that are gathered on the bottom. This has no snaps no buttons and is very easy for diaper changes. I just make sure that the gathered on the bottom is not too tight because then it goes into their stomach when you pull it up to change their diaper.
With the nightgowns I like to put them on from the bottom up instead of putting outfit over their head I'd start from the feet because it is easier that way. I hope I'm not getting to nitty-gritty here.
Good luck and enjoy every minute of planning!.
