[blparent] Accessible ways to track diaper changing, feeding, etc.

				Your methods are fine.
Bottle feeding is easy, you know how big the bottles are and if you fill them up, then you know how many ounces were consumed. In other words, if you have a four ounce bottle and fill it, the you will need to get another bottle if the baby wants/needs to drink six ounces. Just like with big people food, if you eat a bowl of spaghetti, you need to get and fill anotherbowl if you need or want to eat two bowls.

Is there something wrong with your baby? Usually under normal circumstances, this isn't necessary. I did it by memory or sometimes using a Braillewriter or a voice recorder would work well too. Why would hospital staff need to know of your daily habits where your baby is concerned? And why worry about accommodating them? Do they go out of there way regularly to make you and Allison comfortable? If memory serves, I just told them what the wets and dirties were when they came in to check which was often and they wrote it down. Do you both not read Braille or have a way to write it? You could read back to the what you wrote, or print out your log if you have a way to do that.
Unless you just prefer the complications and costs of electronics(i.e, the Apple craze). Hahaha Darrell. Yes I feel your stress with that.
Tracy I do like the Baby Feeding Log. Now watch by the time I get an Appple device if I need it it won't be functional anymore. Ha! Just like you lamented Darrell. Now here is a question for the bottle-feeders on this list, how do you know how many ounces your baby drank if you can't see. Like Melissa, I always breastfed so never knew the number of ounces drunk, but tracked by wet and dirty diapers instead. When looking after other people's children, the other sighted adults would bother to look at the bottle to see; whereas, I'd just gauge by there burping and temperament if they were satiated and happy with the feed. Thanks for your help. I find this list always helpful though I am not actively parenting right now.
