Dear Parents: 

If I were you I'd ask a local ISD if there are resources for the patent to assist the child. A TCVI maybe able to give you an idea we've not come up with on list. I think this is a problem when your trying to help your child --but, I'm not able to think of resources that are low in cost. I know your child's in charter school but it never hurts to ask those in the public school
setting as I'm sure this problem is not new. I highly recommend a Bookshare membership (if the cost is something you can manage). I'd post this question to any educational blindness list like ACB, NFB, Lions, ect and see if anyone had ideas that require less money (if that's an issu).
