I know the independence market has the United States map. I will call them
in the morning and I agree she will want real time data and it might make
her like the subject more because right now she does not like Geography in
the least.

Realize too that your daughter will probably want realtime data on the
countries you're showing her, thinks like current weather forecasts, if they
are celebrating a holiday, food they eat, stuff like that. The internet has
made this a lot easier to obtain.

Dianna,
The maps you saw were probably from the American Printing House for the
Blind in Louisville. They tend to have a lot of the products used in public
schools because schools get some federal funds to buy products and the
American Printing House for the Blind is the designated entity to handle
these funds. Unfortunately, the ability to use those funds, called Quota
Funds, won't apply in your case but you can still purchase the products.

They may have the raised globe as well, I do not remember for certain. If
they don't, someone in our Independence Market may know if we have one or
who might.
